Barbecue Beef Bicuits

My sister introduced me to this recipe.  They sure are good.  They work as a meal paired with a salad, or are great as a party snack food, maybe for the big game?  I really liked these.



 
Ingredients:
1lb. extra-lean ground beef
2/3 cup  KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
 2 cans (7.5 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 cup Cheddar Cheese


Directions:
1. Set oven to 375ºF.
2. Brown meat with peppers in medium skillet. Remove from heat. Stir in barbecue sauce.
3.  Press 1 biscuit onto bottom and up side of each of 8 muffin cups.
4. Spoon meat mixture into biscuit cups; press into cups with back of spoon. (Filling will be mounded.)
5. Bake 10 min. or until biscuits are lightly browned. Top with cheese; bake 3 to 4 min. or until melted.
